We match liner thickness to how your Lakehurst, NJ space is actually used, not a one-size-fits-all default.
Lakehurst, NJ crawl spaces and basements see different levels of ground moisture depending on soil type and grading, which is part of why we size liner thickness to the specific space instead of defaulting to the same product every time.
Seam tape and pier wrapping are done to the standard that keeps warranties valid.
Vapor barrier installation is typically a quicker job than full encapsulation, and we can often schedule Lakehurst, NJ appointments within a few days.

Under-speccing thickness for a heavily used space is one of the most common installation mistakes we see and correct.
Every Lakehurst, NJ Vapor Barrier Installation job starts with an inspection, not a generic package — here's what that typically includes.
We overlap seams per manufacturer spec and seal them with rated tape, not just tucked edges that separate over time.
This is often done in coordination with a flooring contractor's timeline, and we can work around scheduled installation dates.
Support piers and posts get individually wrapped and sealed as part of a proper crawl space installation, since unwrapped piers are a common moisture bypass point.
Existing vapor barriers with failed or separated seams can often be repaired rather than fully replaced, extending the life of a system that's otherwise sound.
Old, torn, or undersized ground cover gets removed and replaced with properly rated liner sized to fully cover the space, piers included.
This helps us bring the correct liner and sealing materials on the first visit.
We also check for standing water or excessive debris that would need addressing before liner installation.
We explain why a given thickness fits your space's usage rather than defaulting to the most expensive liner.
We walk the finished installation with you to confirm seams are properly sealed before calling the job complete.
